The_Clam's map.

So! I decided to post SOMETHING after a long absence, and since my pen is recharging, i have to do something that doesn't require drawing, really.

so, broken up; this is my world, started it as soon as the Halloween update came out, and really FUCKED up the portals.

I made my first portal by my home #8, and ventured through he... soz, the nether XD (or more like, ran in fear) and quickly dug out a hole, and placed my spare portal in the cave i'd dug out. And shazam! I were somewhere else. Desided to mark it by writing 'Portal'.
First, i thought i'd ended up in the desert just north of the '#11' mark. So i ventured out to just about #2

And there I were, utterly lost and confused by not finding my home. I decided (As an insane person XD) that the best course of action was to make a crafting bench, and a chest to hold my stuff, and then make a giant dirt- line tower for navigation (and here do you say; that sounds both sane AND smart. - but i somehow decided to place the chest on top of the dirt tower, making the later retrieval a nightmare.) Oh well, after creating the tower and dumping my stuff in the chest (in that order XD) i did the only sane thing - take my own life, and respawn by my home.

hehe, i'll cut the story-telling off here. this is a portal, that was made when i created a portal in the nether, and ventured though, creating this portal - not that i came out of this one. i came out of the portal at #5. RANDOM. Both portals were floating 4-5 blocks over the water. My sparse materials made it hard to make them accessible from the water below, but i did it.

Haha XD the map shows that this small part of the map hasn't been generated yet!!!

i'll just focus on what's there. I already said most of it in #3. Well, it's a small base. one of everything, and 56 pieces of iron in the chest. Too bad the corresponding portal in hell went out, and it no longer works with the base's portal. (can't really relight the hell portal, as it is at the end of a massive drop.)

My home. Advertised by a monument as well as some text saying 'Home' A rather mediocre home, but equipped with a mining shaft going to the bottom of the map. Because you home isn't complete without one.

Another result of buggy portals, a portal spawned from the nether, and i incorporated it in a fort, dedicated to X (Davidr64yt) (ergo the X) I ventured in from hell once again, and a new portal spawned, JUST above the other on the roof of the finished fort. Then i cannibalized the second portal, you can still see 3 obsidian which i was too lazy to remove.

If you zoom in, and look carefully, you can differ the grass-color from the leaf-color, and notice, that the two locations next to the '#10' mark, that hasn't got trees, and let me assure you, there were trees. flint & steel ftw

to the left of the sharp, you can see a small 2 by 6 block hole. it's a stairway down to the lava pit i harvested my first (and all those to come) obsidian blocks.

I love looking at the edge of the map. look at all the caves and lava!


sorry for my rambling, my pen really need alot of electricity.

I wonder if anyone made it through the wall of text If you read it, you may suggest the next themed shroom.
